A curable gypsum-based composition for the production of cured gypsum matrix, the composition comprising a two-component composition comprising: (a) a first component comprising calcined gypsum suspended in water, and a set retarding substance comprising (i) an organic acid containing at least two acid groups selected from the group consisting of carboxyl, sulphate, sulphonate, phosphate or phosphonate, said acid optionally also containing at least one hydroxy group per molecule; and/or (ii) inorganic anions selected from the group consisting of polyphosphate and polyborate, or mixtures thereof, and (b) a second component comprising a set accelerating substance comprising water-soluble salts of multivalent metal ions. The water soluble salts in component (b) forms stable precipitate or complexes with the acid in component (a). The component (b) may also comprise easily soluble salts of ammonium and/or cations from the first group of the periodic table of the elements, which will accelerate the hardening process.
L'invention concerne une composition durcissable à base de plâtre utilisée pour produire une matrice durcie en plâtre. La composition comprend deux composants dont (a) un premier composant constitué de plâtre calciné en suspension dans de l'eau et une substance qui retarde le durcissement constituée de (i) un acide organique qui contient au moins deux groupes acides sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué de carboxyle, sulfate, sulfonate, phosphate ou phosphonate, cet acide pouvant le cas échéant contenir également au moins un groupe hydroxy par molécule; et/ou (ii) des anions inorganiques sélectionnés dans le groupe constitué de polyphosphate et de polyborate, ou de mélanges de ceux-ci; et (b) un deuxième composant qui comprend une substance qui accélère le durcissement et qui contient des sels solubles dans l'eau d'ions métalliques polyvalents. Les sels solubles dans l'eau qui font partie du composant (b) forment des produits précipités ou des complexes stables avec l'acide du composant (a). Le composant (b) peut également comprendre des sels aisément solubles d'ammonium et/ou des cations du premier groupe de la table périodique des éléments, qui accélèrent le processus de durcissement.
