A method and system for determining the absence and presence of items in an RFlD interrogation zone. At least one RFID reader transmits interrogation signals in an interrogation zone. Each RFID reader transmits interrogation signals having a forward amount of RF energy and receives response signals from the items in the interrogation zone having a reflected amount of RF energy. A detection circuit determines the presence and absence of items within the interrogation zone based at least in part on the reflected amount of RF energy.

Procédé et système pour déterminer l'absence et la présence d'éléments dans une zone d'interrogation RFID. Au moins un lecteur RFID émet des signaux d'interrogation dans une zone d'interrogation. Chaque lecteur RFID émet des signaux d'interrogation ayant une quantité transmise d'énergie RF et reçoit des signaux de réponse provenant des éléments de la zone d'interrogation ayant une quantité réfléchie d'énergie RF. Un circuit de détection détermine la présence et l'absence d'éléments dans la zone d'interrogation en se basant au moins en partie sur la quantité réfléchie d'énergie RF.
