The invention relates to a device for the automated production of dental workpieces. A blank (13) is inserted in a substantially slab-shaped support (10) of the device, said support being dimensioned such that the blank (13) does not extend beyond it in any direction. The blank (13) is linked with corresponding inner walls of a recess (12) provided in the support (10) only on two opposite faces while a gap is left between the other inner walls of the recess (12) and the corresponding faces of the blank (13). The inventive design allows to avoid tensions and microcracks of the blank material thereby caused. The gaps further make the blank (13) directly accessible for a lateral working by the milling tool.
L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à la fabrication automatique de pièces dentaires, une ébauche (13) étant logée dans une corps support (10) se présentant essentiellement sous la forme d'un panneau, les dimensions du corps support étant choisies de manière que l'ébauche (13) ne dépasse en aucun point du corps support. L'ébauche (13) est uniquement reliée sur deux surfaces opposées à des parois intérieures correspondantes d'une cavité (12) pratiquée dans le corps support (10), tandis qu'un espace intermédiaire est maintenu entre les autres parois intérieures de la cavité (12) et les côtés correspondants de l'ébauche (13). Ce type de construction permet d'éviter des contraintes et les microfissures résultantes sur le matériau de l'ébauche. Les espaces intermédiaires présentent par ailleurs l'avantage que l'ébauche (13) est accessible directement par l'outil de fraisage pour l'usinage latéral.
