The present invention is related to a intra-articular pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment and/or the prevention of acute or chronic osteoarticular diseases and acute or chronic osteoarticular symptoms especially osteoarthritis, this composition comprising: possibly an adequate pharmaceutical carrier or diluent, a glycosaminoglycan, a compound activating the alpha 2 adrenergic receptor, an anti-inflammatory agent and stem cells.
