There is disclosed an improved tool, e.g. adapted to comprise at least part of a well completion assembly or well drilling assembly. The invention provides an improved downhole tool (or device) having a friction factor of the order of ten times less than those known from the prior art, e.g. of the order of 0.100 or less. Accordingly the invention provides a downhole tool (10; 10a;10b;10c;10d) , at least part of the downhole tool or device being made from Tungsten Disulphide (Tungsten Disulfide) . In a disclosed embodiment the at lest part comprises at least one surface of the downhole tool, the at least one surface comprising a bearing surface, e.g. a journal bearing surface and/or a thrust bearing surface.

Outil perfectionné, notamment conçu pour former une partie au moins d'un ensemble de complétion de puits ou d'un ensemble de forage de puits. L'invention concerne en particulier un outil (ou dispositif) fond de trou perfectionné dont le coefficient de frottement est environ dix fois inférieur aux coefficients de frottement de la technique antérieure, autrement dit inférieur à ceux-ci d'un facteur d'au moins 0,1. Au moins une partie de l'outil (ou du dispositif) fond de trou (10 ; 10a ; 10b ; 10c ; 10d) de l'invention est constituée de disulfure de tungstène. Dans un mode de réalisation, ladite au moins une partie comprend au moins une surface de l'outil fond de trou, ladite au moins une surface comprenant une surface de palier, notamment une surface de palier lisse et/ou une surface de palier de butée.
