7 Abstract Method of Using S-Adenosyl Methionine as Agent Against Viral Infections by Retroviruses In in vitro tests using lymphocyte cultures, S-adenosyl methionine, which is stabilized as the tosylate-bis-sulfate, is effective against AIDS viruses at a half-value concentra- tion in the range of 100 to 200 µg/ml.
