A hitch guide for guiding a trailer tongue to a hitch ball installed at the rear of a vehicle, said hitch guide comprising sides, a front and a rear and having two converging portions extending from proximate the sides of said guide and converging intermediate said sides, said two converging portions terminating proximate the top thereof and providing thereat overriding prevention portions extending from proximate the sides of the guide to intermediate said sides, saidconvergence extending frontwardly away from a trailer tongue in use, whereat when said hitch guide is installed on a trailer hitch proximate the rear of a vehicle, as the vehicle is moved toward the trailer, the trailer tongue will engage the converging portions of said guide and will be guided to the ball hitch untilthe trailer tongue reaches the convergence of said portions whereat the trailer tongue will be located adjacent to the ball hitch, and whereat during the guiding of the trailer tongue toward the ball hitch, any attempt of the trailer tongue to override said guide will be obviated by the override prevention portions of saidguide.

Cette invention concerne un guide-flèche d'attelage servant à diriger ladite flèche d'une remorque vers la boule d'attelage montée à l'arrière du véhicule tracteur. L'objet de l'invention comporte deux ailes convergeant pour former un V dont la pointe est dirigée vers l'avant du véhicule tracteur et comportant une ouverture à la base du V par où passera la flèche d'attelage pour s'accrocher à la boule d'attelage. Les ailes convergeantes comportent à leur sommet un rebord replié vers la remorque et servant à empêcher la flèche d'attelage de passer par-dessus le guide-flèche d'attelage. L'invention s'installe sur l'arrière du véhicule tracteur avec l'ouverture centrale située au droit de la boule d'attelage de sorte que, lorsque le véhicule tracteur recule vers la remorque, les ailes du guide-flèche d'attelage forcent automatiquement cette flèche à se diriger vers la boule d'attelage.
