A coxial cable connector includes a connector body and an annular post coupled to the connector body. The connector body has a rearward cable receiving end and an internal threaded surface defined in the rearward cable receiving end. The internal threaded surface is adapted to threadably engage an outer surface of a coaxial cable. The annular post has a rearward cable insertion end disposed within the connector body, which preferably defines a sharp edge adapted to penetrate an end of the cable as the connector body is threaded on the outer surface of the cable.

La présente concerne un connecteur de câble coaxial, qui comprend un bâti de connecteur auquel vient se joindre une colonne annulaire. Le bâti du connecteur comporte une extrémité de câble femelle, dont l'intérieur est fileté. L'intérieur fileté peut recevoir la partie mâle filetée correspondante d'un câble coaxial. La colonne annulaire est munie d'une prise de câble femelle à l'arrière, logée dans le bâti du connecteur, et qui est préférablement munie d'une arête vive dont la forme lui permet de recevoir une extrémité de câble, le câble en question étant fileté pour s'adapter au bâti du connecteur.
