A method of fastening a lock cylinder body in a generally flat element comprises the steps of providing in the element (20) an opening (22) which is defined by at least first and second mutually convergent edges (24a, 24b), and providing in the body (10) first and second grooves (14a, 14b) that are intended for co-action with said edges. The body is then inserted into the opening (22) to a position in which the grooves are level with said edges, whereafter the body is moved in a direction parallel with the plane of the element into an engagement position in which the edges are in engagement with the grooves, therewith to lock the body in an axial direction in this engagement position. Finally, a tongue (26) integral with the flat element is bent to a posi-tion in which the tongue lies essentially in the plane of said flat element, so as to lock the body (10) against movement in directions parallel with the plane of the element (20) in said engagement position. The lock cylinder body is fas-tened simply and reliably by means of this method.
Procédé permettant de fixer un corps de cylindre de serrure dans un élément généralement plat, qui consiste à ménager dans l'élément (20) une ouverture (22) définie par au moins des premier et deuxième bords convergents (24a, 24b) et à ménager dans le corps (10) des première et deuxième rainures (14a, 14b) destinées à entrer en interaction avec lesdits bords. Le corps est alors introduit dans l'ouverture (22) dans une position dans laquelle les rainures sont alignées avec les bords, après quoi le corps est déplacé dans un sens parallèle au plan de l'élément vers une position d'emboîtement dans laquelle les bords sont emboîtés dans les rainures, ce qui permet de bloquer le corps dans un sens axial dans cette position d'emboîtement. Enfin, une languette (26) constituée d'un seul tenant avec l'élément plat est courbée vers une position dans laquelle la languette se trouve essentiellement dans le plan dudit élément plat, de manière à verrouiller le corps (10) dans cette position d'emboîtement et à l'empêcher de se déplacer dans des directions parallèles au plan de l'élément (20). Ledit procédé permet de fixer ledit corps de cylindre de serrure de manière simple et fiable.
