The present invention efficiently induces indefinitely sustained resonation in stringed music instruments. The device comprises: a string, fixed in the manner of stringed music instrument; a pickup, to obtain an electrical signal mimickingthe oscillations of the string; an amplifier, to amplify the electrical signal; a driver, to convert the electrical signal to mechanical oscillations; and a mechanical apparatus, to conduct the mechanical oscillations from the driver to the string. The described mechanical apparatus uses a lever attached to the driver and the string, as a means of increasing the force of the mechanical oscillations produced by the driver. The device would allow musicians sustained resonance, as well as a meansof variating the timbre of the instrument.
