This is a container (100) for the protection of an object during shipping. It is foldable (preferably from a single sheet (102)) and forms a platform (116) for supporting the object, which platform is separated from the exterior wall (106, 108) of the container by the use of at least one spacer panel (110) attached to the edge of the support platform. The object is held firmly against the support platform in such a way that it too is spaced away from the container wall. Although the disclosed container may have open ends, it desirably has ends completing the enclosure that also fold from the beginning sheet.

L'invention concerne une boîte (100) permettant de protéger un objet durant le transport. La boîte est pliable, de préférence à partir d'une seule feuille (102), et constitue une plate-forme (116) permettant de supporter un objet, qui est séparée de la paroi extérieure (106, 108) de la boîte par au moins un panneau d'écartement (110) fixé sur le bord de ladite plate-forme support. L'objet est maintenu fermement contre la plate-forme, de façon à être lui aussi écarté de la paroi de la boîte. Bien que cette dernière puisse avoir des extrémités ouvertes, elle a de préférence des extrémités qui ferment l'enveloppe et se plient également à partir de la feuille de départ.
