A urethane (meth)acrylate curable with actinic radiation and compositions curable therewith, useful for coating materials having both mar resistance and lubricity; and use of the (meth)acrylate and the compositions. The urethane (meth)acrylate has both a long-chain alkyl group having 13 to 25 carbon atoms and a functional group curable with actinic radiation and is modified with polycaprolactone. The urethane (meth)acrylate can be prepared by reacting an organic isocyanate having three or more isocyanate groups in the molecule with a long-chain alkyl alcohol and a polycaprolactone-modified hydroxyethyl (meth)acrylate. The compositions curable with actinic radiation contain the urethane (meth)acrylate.
L'invention se rapporte à un uréthane (méth)acrylate polymérisable par rayonnement actinique et à des compositions qu'il est possible de polymériser à l'aide de cet uréthane (méth)acrylate et qui s'avèrent utiles pour des matières de revêtement présentant à la fois une résistance aux éraflures et un pouvoir lubrifiant. L'invention se rapporte également à l'utilisation de ce (méth)acrylate et de ces compositions. Cet uréthane (méth)acrylate possède à la fois un groupe alkyle à chaîne longue comportant 13 à 25 atomes de carbone et un groupe fonctionnel polymérisable par rayonnement actinique et il est modifié par la polycaprolactone. Il est possible de préparer cet uréthane (méth)acrylate en faisant réagir un isocyanate organique comportant au moins trois groupes isocyanate dans la molécule avec un alcool alkylique à chaîne longue et un hydroxyéthyle (méth)acrylate modifié par de la polycaprolactone. Ces compositions polymérisables par rayonnement actinique contiennent ledit uréthane (méth)acrylate.
