A system and method of identifying and removing artifact from radio frequency noise from biopotentials identifies epochs contaminated with radio frequency noise. Contaminated epochs are then replaced with recent uncontaminated epochs stored in a buffer, depending on the current level of artifact and the availability of suitable data. Discontinuities arising at the beginning of the replaced epochs are smoothed by means of a windowing function.

L'invention concerne un système et un procédé d'identification et de suppression d'un artefact de bruit de radiofréquence à partir de biopotentiels, permettant d'identifier des époques contaminées par un bruit de radiofréquence. Des époques contaminées sont ensuite remplacées par des époques récentes non contaminées, stockées dans un tampon, en fonction du niveau actuel d'artefact, et de la disponibilité de données appropriées. Des discontinuités apparaissant au début des époques remplacées sont lissées au moyen d'une fonction de fenêtrage.
