A seat assembly for a pedestrian operable suction sweeping machine comprising a telescopic chassis 1,3, supported on a caster wheel 17 and having a fold away seat arrangement 19 including a seat 20 supported on a seat plate 22. The assembly is provided with a pair of rearwardly facing lights 29,31 and a flashing or hazard warning light 47, the lights being supported on support arms 37 of a light frame 34 and the light 47 on a swing bracket 49 so that when the seat assembly is folded away for pedestrian operation of the machine, the lights can be folded into a stowed position to either side of the seat 20. The lights are preferably powered from a power source on the machine and wiring 53 for the lights is entrained around a dolly 57 to allow extension of the chassis 1,3.
La présente invention fait état d'un siège de balayeuse aspiratrice dirigeable par un opérateur à pied. Le siège comprend un cadre télescopique (1, 3), supporté par une roulette (17), sur lequel se trouve un dispositif de siège escamotable (19) constitué d'un siège (20) reposant sur une plaque de siège (22). Le siège est muni de deux feux arrière (29, 31) et d'un voyant avertisseur clignotant (47). Les feux sont fixés sur les bras d'appui (37) d'un cadre pour feux, tandis que le voyant avertisseur (47) est fixé sur un support pivotant (49) de sorte que, lorsque le siège est escamoté pour permettre à un opérateur de diriger la balayeuse aspiratrice à pied, les feux se replient pour occuper une position de rangement, de chaque côté du siège (20).
