The present invention provides a method and apparatus (1) for testing a valve control system in an aircraft fuel supply system (100) having a plurality of con-trol valves, wherein the control system includes relay means for outputting control signals to each of the plurality of con-trol valves. The method comprises the steps of. providing connection means for electrically connecting a test device to the control system relay means; connecting a test device to the relay means such that the test device is adapted to receive control signals output by the control system to any one of the plurality of control valves; detecting an electri-cal control signal output from the relay means to any one of the plurality of control valves; and identifying the particu-lar one of the plurality of control valves to which a detected control signal is output by the relay means and identifying the nature of the control signal output to that particular con-trol valve.
Cette invention concerne un procédé et un appareil (1) permettant de tester un système de commande de vanne dans un système d'alimentation en carburant (100) pour aéronef comprenant une pluralité de vannes de commande. Ce système de commande comprend un moyen relais conçu pour produire des signaux de commande en direction de chacune des multiples vannes de commande. Le procédé comprend les étapes qui consistent: à utiliser un moyen de raccordement afin de raccorder électriquement un dispositif d'essai au moyen relais du système de commande; à raccorder un dispositif d'essai au moyen relais de telle sorte que le dispositif d'essai puisse recevoir les signaux de commande produits par le système de commande en direction de l'une des multiples vannes de commande; à détecter un signal de commande électrique produit par le moyen relais en direction de l'une des vannes de commande, puis à identifier parmi la pluralité de vannes de commande la vanne spécifique vers laquelle un signal de commande détecté est produit par le moyen relais puis à identifier la nature du signal de commande produit en direction de ladite vanne de commande.
