The invention is applied for increasing oil production and oil recovery of an oil-bearing bed by subjecting the bed to the action of vibrations from the Earth's surface. For this purpose, the character of the stressed state of the oil deposit is first determined by measuring the amplitudes of microseismic waves before and after subjecting it to test vibrations. Further, at the points where the difference of these amplitudes is maximum, the deposit is subjected to the action of vibration to increase oil production and recovery, and the points where this difference is minimum are used for drilling oil wells.

L'invention est destinée à améliorer la production et la récupération pétrolières d'une couche de fond en soumettant ladite couche à l'action des vibrations depuis la surface de la Terre. A cet effet, on détermine d'abord le caractère de l'état sous contrainte du gisement pétrolier en mesurant l'amplitude des ondes microsismiques avant et après l'avoir soumis aux vibrations de test. Au stade suivant, dans les points où la différence d'amplitudes atteint son maximum, le gisement est soumis à l'action de la vibration pour augmenter la production et la récupération pétrolières; les points où la différence est minimale sont utilisés pour le forage des puits de pétrole.
