A self-retaining bandage having a reticular strap made of elastomer, a plurality of concave contacts and convex tips evenly disposed on upper and lower surfaces of the reticular strap and the upper and lower surfaces are coated with silica gel whereby a wound is bound up by means of the concave contacts and the convex tips on the upper surface around the wound respectively attaching to the convex tips and the concave contacts on the lower bandage with the coating of silica gel providing adhesion therebetween.
