A method and apparatus for reconstructing a surface shape of an object having contour lines, includes assigning points to each contour line. A first triangulation scheme is performed with respect to respective points on two adjacently-positioned contour lines, to determine a first surface shape for a portion of the object corresponding to the two contour lines. The first surface shape is checked to determine if the first surface shape is in error. If the first surface shape is not in error, the first surface shape is outputted for the portion of the object as determined by the first triangulation scheme, as a reconstructed surface shape for that portion of the object. If the first surface shape is in error, a second triangulation scheme is performed with respect to the respective points on the two contour lines, to determine a second surface shape for that portion of the object, and the second surface shape is outputted for that portion of the object as determined by the second triangulation scheme, as a reconstructed surface shape.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de reconstruire une forme de surface d'un objet qui présente des lignes de contour, par attribution de points à chaque ligne de contour. Un premier schéma de triangulation est mis en oeuvre par rapport aux points respectifs sur deux lignes de contour adjacentes, afin de déterminer une première forme de surface pour une partie de l'objet correspondant aux deux lignes de contour. La première forme de surface est contrôlée afin de déterminer si elle est erronée. Si cette première forme de surface n'est pas erronée, la première forme de surface pour la partie de l'objet est restituée telle que déterminée par le premier schéma de triangulation en tant que forme de surface reconstruite pour cette partie de l'objet. Si la première forme de surface est erronée, un second schéma de triangulation est mis en oeuvre par rapport aux points respectifs sur les deux lignes de contour, afin de déterminer une seconde forme de surface pour cette partie de l'objet, puis la seconde forme de surface pour la partie de l'objet est restituée telle que déterminée par le second schéma de triangulation en tant que forme de surface reconstruite.
