A container carrying and support device. A container having a body portion and a relatively narrow neck portion is provided. A collar constituted by a plurality of protruding regions separated by less protrusive regions is coupled to the container about its neck. In one embodiment, the container is plastic and the collar is integrally formed with the neck of the bottle. In another embodiment, the collar is integrally formed with either a container cap or a locking ring disposed about the neck of the container. In yet another embodiment of the invention, the collar is formed separately from the container and is provided with a hinge between a pair of protruding regions and a fastener so that it can be manually coupled about the container's neck. The collar, however formed, permits the container to be carried easily with two fingers and reduces the surface area of contact and therefore, heat transfer, between a user and any contents of the container while carried in this manner.

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour porter et tenir un récipient. Ce récipient présente un partie corps et un partie col relativement étroite, un collier composé de plusieurs régions saillantes séparées par des régions moins saillantes étant couplé à ce récipient autour de son col. Dans un mode de réalisation, ce récipient est fabriqué en plastique et le collier intégré au col de la bouteille. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, le collier est intégré à un bouchon ou à une bague de fermeture placée autour du col dudit récipient. Dans une variante, ce collier est séparé du récipient et pourvu d'une charnière placée entre deux régions saillantes et un dispositif de fixation, afin de pouvoir être manuellement couplé autour du col dudit récipient. Le collier, quelle que soit sa forme, permet donc au récipient d'être porté facilement avec deux doigts et réduit la surface de contact, et donc le transfert de chaleur, entre un utilisateur et le contenu du récipient, une fois celui-ci porté de cette manière.
