An insulated concrete form system including two longitudinally-extending side panels, each side panel having an exterior surface and an interior surface, wherein the interior surface of one side panel faces the interior surface of the other side panel and wherein the interior surfaces are laterally spaced apart from each other so that a cavity is formed therebetween, a longitudinally-extending wire re-bar disposed in the cavity formed between the side panels, and at least two connector members. The wire re-bar acts both as a bridging element between the two side panels and as the horizontal structural reinforcement of the concrete (or similar material) placed into the cavity between the side panels. A portion of each connector member is integrally formedwithin a portion of one side panel so that one connector member is formed within a portion of each of the side panels. Each connector member has an end plate and at least one gripping section, in which the gripping section is adapted to receive a portion of the wire re-bar therein. The gripping sections extend into the cavity formed between the side panels, wherein each connector member in one side panel is spaced apart from all other connector members in the other side panel.
La présente invention vise un système de coffrages isolés pour la mise en place du béton, composés de deux panneaux latéraux se prolongeant sur un axe longitudinal, la surface intérieure de chaque panneau latéral faisant face à la surface intérieure de l'autre panneau, de manière que la distance les séparant l'une de l'autre forme une cavité et loge sur le plan longitudinal une barre d'armature crénelée et au moins deux connecteurs. La barre d'armature joue à la fois le rôle de pontage entre les deux panneaux latéraux et de renforcement structurel horizontal de l'ouvrage fait de béton (ou d'un matériau similaire) coulé dans la cavité formée entre les deux panneaux. Une section de chaque connecteur fait partie intégrante d'un panneau latéral de manière qu'une partie au moins de chaque panneau latéral soit munie d'un connecteur. Chaque connecteur est doté d'une part d'une plaque d'extrémité et d'autre part d'au moins une section de préhension conçue pour recevoir un segment de la barre d'armature crénelée. Les sections de préhension pénètrent dans la cavité formée entre les deux panneaux latéraux, de telle sorte que chaque connecteur d'un panneau latéral soit à une certaine distance de tous les autres connecteurs de l'autre panneau latéral.
