The invention relates to a composition to improve digestibility and utilisation of nutrients, comprising one or more acid stable lipases and/or one or more acid stable amylases. Both the lipase and the amylase may be of fungal origin. The lipase preferably originates from Rhizopus arrhizus or Rhizopus javanicus and the amylase from Aspergillus niger. The composition is for example a pharmaceutical composition for use in the treatment of exocrine pancreas insufficiency which may be the result of or a side-effect of acquired chronic pancreatitis, alcoholism, cystic fibrosis or pancreatic carcinomas.

L'invention concerne une composition pour améliorer la digestibilité et l'utilisation de substances nutritives, comprenant une ou plusieurs lipases stables en milieu acide et/ou une ou plusieurs amylases stables en milieu acide. La lipase et l'amylase peuvent être toutes deux d'origine fongique. La lipase provient de préférence de Rhizopus arrhizus ou de Rhizopus javanicus et l'amylase d'Aspergillus niger. La composition est, par exemple, une composition pharmaceutique servant au traitement d'insuffisances du pancréas exocrine qui peuvent être induites par une pancréatite chronique acquise, l'alcoolisme, la fibrose kystique ou les carcinomes pancréatiques, ou se manifester en tant qu'effet secondaire de ces affections.
