A compact modular portable work station including a computer (100), a printer (200) and/or other peripherals, interconnected with one another with all of the electrical conductors enclosed in a single, shielded composite cable (13) supported by a docking channel (3) having electrical connectors (27) extending therefrom to enable the conductors to be connected directly to the computer (100) and a peripheral. The computer (100) and the peripherals are all operational from and efficiently packaged within an impact resistant carrying case (1). A cellular telephone (54) is placed in a shielded enclosure under a metal shroud (14) in order to shield the computer (100) and computer peripherals from RF signals emitted by the cellular telephone (54).

L'invention porte sur une station de travail portable, modulaire, compact comprenant un ordinateur (100), une imprimante (200) et/ou des périphériques, interconnectés entre eux par tous les conducteurs électriques enfermés dans un câble composite, unique, blindé (13) supporté dans un canal d'adossage (3) dont les connecteurs électriques s'étendent depuis celui-ci de façon à permettre le raccordement direct des conducteurs à l'ordinateur (100) et à un périphérique.
