A method and system for controlling overhead information transmission in a radiocommunication system is described. By desynchronizing information transmitted in two streams on a control channel, loads on the reverse control channel are more evenly distributed to minimize overload situations. Similarly, blocked calls can be prevented by judicious transmission timing of control filler messages relative to the overhead message trains. The relative timing of various registration parameters is also described to reduce extraneous registrations.

Procédé et système de contrôle de la transmission de messages de servitude dans un système de radiocommunications consistant à désynchroniser l'information transmise en deux flux sur un canal de commande, les charges sur le canal de commande inverse étant plus régulièrement réparties de manière à réduire les surcharges. De même, le blocage des communications peut être évité par une synchronisation adéquate des messages de remplissage de commande par rapport au train de messages de servitude. La distribution temporelle relative des différents signaux de concordance permettant de réduire les signaux de concordance étrangers est également décrite.
