The invention relates to a security paper consisting of at least two paper fibre webs, wherein the first web is embodied in the form of an external web provided with at least one authentication element and the second web comprises a reinforcing element which is substentially absent in the first web and selected amongst materials improving mechanical strength, and/or another authentication element and the authentication element of said first web substentially absent in the second web. A method for producing the inventive security paper is also disclosed.

L'invention concerne un papier de sécurité comportant au moins deux jets fibreux de papier, le premier jet étant un jet externe qui comporte au moins un élément d'authentification et l'autre jet, dit second jet, comprenant : - un élément de renfort sensiblement absent du premier jet, ledit élément de renfort étant choisi parmi les matériaux améliorant la résistance mécanique; et/ou - un autre élément d'authentification et l'élément d'authentification dudit premier jet étant absent dudit second jet. L'invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un tel papier de sécurité.
