A dual-system fuel injection engine has inlet ports (11) each extending at cylinder head (6) obliquely upward from a combustion chamber (16); an inlet manifold (21) connected at its downstream side end section to the inlet ports (11); an in-cylinder injector (15) for each of the cylinders, injecting fuel directly into the combustion chamber (16); and a inlet pipe injector (56) for each cylinder, injecting fuel into the inlet port (11). The in-cylinder injector (15) is attached to the cylinder head (6) and is positioned on the lower side of the inlet port (11) when viewed from the direction of the axis of a crankshaft (27). The inlet pipe injector (56) and a low-pressure delivery pipe (57) for supplying fuel to all the inlet pipe injectors (56) are supported at the inlet manifold (21) and are positioned, when viewed from the direction of the axis of the crankshaft (27), on the upper side of the inlet port (11) so as to be close to the inlet port (11).

L'invention concerne un moteur à injection de carburant bivalente qui comporte des orifices d'admission (11), chacun s'étendant au niveau de la culasse (6) obliquement vers le haut à partir d'une chambre de combustion (16); un collecteur d'admission (21), relié au niveau de son secteur terminal aval aux orifices d'admission (11); un injecteur interne (15) pour chacun des cylindres, injectant du carburant directement dans la chambre de combustion (16); et un injecteur de pipe d'admission (56) pour chaque cylindre, injectant du carburant dans l'orifice d'admission (11). L'injecteur interne (15) est fixé sur la culasse (6) et est placé sur le côté inférieur de l'orifice d'admission (11) quand on le regarde de la direction de l'axe du vilebrequin (27). L'injecteur de pipe d'admission (56) et un tuyau d'alimentation basse pression (57), pour alimenter en carburant tous les injecteurs de pipe d'admission (56), sont soutenus au niveau du collecteur d'admission (21) et sont placés, quand on les regarde de la direction de l'axe du vilebrequin (27), sur le côté supérieur de l'orifice d'admission (11) afin d'être près de l'orifice d'admission (11).
