An actuator assembly for a power tool having at least one handle, a tool housing containing a motor, and a working member adapted to be actuated by means of the motor comprises a plurality of actuator members adapted to be moved relative to a handle of the tool between a respective first position to actuate electrical switch means to actuate the motor, and a respective second position in which the electrical switch means is not actuated. A plurality of respective locking members is mounted to each actuator member. Each locking member is movable relative to the corresponding actuator member between a respective first position in which actuation of the respective one of the actuator members is permitted and a respective second position in which actuation of the respective one of the actuator members is prevented. Movement of a one of the plurality of locking members from the respective second position thereof to the respective first position thereof causes the other of the plurality of locking members also to move from the respective second positions thereof to the respective first positions thereof.
