A method and apparatus for transmitting and receiving data provide for efficient use communication resources by encoding data in accordance with a first code to produce a block of data, determining transmission data rate of a time frame, selecting a portion of the block of data based on the determined transmission data rate, adding a location identifier data to the portion of data to produce a payload data, wherein the location identifier identifies a location of the portion of data within the block of data, and encoding the payload data in accordance with a second code to produce a packet of data for transmission over the time frame. A transmitter transmits the packet of data over the time frame at the determined data rate. A receiver receives the packet of data over the time frame, and processes the received data accordingly to reproduce the block of data.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour émettre et recevoir des données en utilisant des ressources de communication de manière efficace. Ce procédé consiste à coder des données en fonction d'un premier code pour produire un bloc de données, à déterminer un débit de transmission pour un cadre temporel défini, à sélectionner une partie du bloc de données sur la base du débit de transmission déterminé, à ajouter une donnée d'identificateur d'emplacement à cette partie de données pour créer une donnée de charge utile, cet identificateur d'emplacement identifiant un emplacement de la partie de données à l'intérieur du bloc de données, et à coder la donnée de charge utile en fonction d'un deuxième code pour produire un paquet de données à transmettre dans le cadre temporel défini. Un émetteur transmet le paquet de données dans ce cadre temporel au débit déterminé. Un récepteur reçoit le paquet de données dans ce cadre temporel et traite les données reçues en conséquence pour reproduire le bloc de données.
