The present invention relates to air-assisted, low pressure spray equipment having an improved spray nozzle including 1) a caulking gun (18) adapted to receive two or more cartridges (23,24) having a nozzle, 2) a static mixer (1), 3)a spray section (10). The spray section has outlet ports for introducing air into an atomizing zone formed between the outlet ports and the spray tip, wherein the spray tip (5) of the static mixer (1) passes through an orifice in the spray section such that the mixed liquid components are introduced into the atomizing zone (16). The present invention also relates to a process for spraying a one-or two-component composition with the air-assisted, low pressure spray equipment.
La présente invention concerne un équipement de pulvérisation basse pression assistée par air comprimé doté d'une buse de pulvérisation améliorée, comprenant 1) un pistolet de calfeutrage (18) conçu pour recevoir au moins deux cartouches (23,24) et doté d'une buse, 2) un mélangeur statique (1), 3) une section de pulvérisation (10). La section de pulvérisation présente des orifices de sortie qui permettent l'introduction de l'air dans une zone de nébulisation formée entre les orifices de sortie et la pointe de pulvérisation, la pointe de pulvérisation (5) du mélangeur statique (1) traversant un orifice ménagé dans la section de pulvérisation de telle sorte que les composants liquides mélangés puissent être introduits dans la zone de nébulisation (16). La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de pulvériser une composition mono ou bicomposants au moyen de l'équipement de pulvérisation basse pression assistée par air comprimé.
