An improved mounting bracket having a generally U-shape in cross-section with two arms, a base arm having a shape preferably flat adapted for securing to a support structure and a support arm extending in an arc of substantially constant radius to facilitate mounting a device such as a light thereto at different locations along the arc to provide for the light to be directed in different directions. By varying the location of the light on the curved support arm and varying the relative orientation of the base relative to the support structure, the lamp may be directed in a plurality of directions as desired.
