New substituted triazolinones have the general formula (I), in which Q stands for oxygen or sulphur, R1 stands for halogen alkyl, R3 stands for hydrogen or halogen, R4 stands for cyano or nitro, R2 stands for hydrogen or various substituents and R5 stands for various substituents. Also disclosed are methods for producing these triazolinones and their use as herbicides.
