-5- TOW STRAP ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION A towing strap may be used as a Y-configuration towing strap or a straight strap either singly or doubled over to provide added strength. The strap is thus "universal". The strap is a long webbing strap with tow hooks on either end and a slide buckle that fits onto a doubled over portion of the strap between the hooks thus giving the strap an adjustable Y-configuration. The slide buckle can be removed so the strap can be used a single or double tow strap.
