A method for the evaporative disposal of waste water. A first step involves providing a primary tank, with a capacity of at least 2500 litres, holding waste water at ambient temperature and a secondary tank, with a capacity of not more than 250 litres. A second step involves heating the secondary tank to promote evaporative disposal of waste water through boiling. A third step involves feeding waste water from the primary tank to the secondary tank in order to maintain a minimum water level in the secondary tank.
