ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A vehicular mirror clamping bracket used for securing mirror assemblies to a vehicle. The clamping bracket is a base and a clamp unit hinged to open and close, thus, permitting a support for a mirror assembly to be inserted into a throughbore within the bracket. The clamp is closed over the mirror assembly support applying torque and thereby holding the support in place. When the clamp is closed, a latch hook on the clamp engages a latch edge in the base thereby locking the clamp closed.

L'invention porte sur une patte de fixation, servant à monter des ensembles miroir sur un véhicule, qui est composée d'une base et d'une pince articulée de façon à s'ouvrir et à se fermer, ce qui permet donc d'insérer un support d'ensemble miroir dans un trou de la patte. La pince se ferme sur le support de l'ensemble miroir et y applique une pression pour ainsi maintenir le support en place. Lorsque la pince est fermée, un crochet de verrouillage de cette dernière s'appuie contre un bord de verrouillage de la base, bloquant donc la pince en position fermée.
