F2A-19495/KT ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A photographic light-sensitive element for the color diffusion transfer process which comprises a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer with at least one of the silver halide emulsion layers having associated therewith a dye releasing redox compound represented by the follow- ing general formula: D-Redox Moiety wherein D represents a dye moiety and Redox Moiety represents a group represented by the following general formula (I): Image (I) wherein X1 represents an -SO2- group or a -CO- group; R1 represents an unsubstituted straight chain alkylene group having 2 or more carbon atoms or an unsubstituted branched chain alkylene group having 2 or more carbon atoms with the proviso the branched chain alkylene group is incapable of forming an acetal linkage; R2 represents an alkyl group; and Y represents an o- or p-hydroxyarylsulfamoyl group having a ballast group bonded thereto.
