The invention relates to a device for printing information on a compact disc surface comprising at least one movable print-head, a holding carriage (C), at least one main drive motor (M I), one additional motor (M II) for driving carriage (C) along one part of the displacement thereof, a mechanical switch (A) for alternately switching the carriage drive by the main motor (M I) and by the additional motor (M II). Said invention can be used for simple compact disc ink-jet printers.

L'invention concerne un appareil permettant d'imprimer des informations sur une face d'un disque compact. L'appareil d'impression est du type comportant au moins une tête d'impression mobile et un chariot (C) porte objet et au moins un moteur principal d'entraînement (M I), ainsi qu'un moteur additionnel (M II) entraînant le chariot (C) sur une partie de son déplacement, et un commutateur mécanique (A) permettant de basculer alternativement l'entraînement du chariot par le moteur principal (M I) et par le moteur additionnel (M II). Application aux imprimantes simples à jet d'encre pour disques compacts.
