The invention relates to an aqueous dispersion of alkyde resin which is based on conjugated unsaturated fatty acids and which is treated by an oxidizing agent and which has specific properties, especially in terms of drying, a specific method for the production thereof and the use thereof as a binder in aqueous compositions of decorative or industrial coatings, having a reduced drying agent content or being devoid of a drying agent. The aqueous dispersion comprises at least one alkyde resin obtained from at least one unsaturated fatty acid having a rate by weight of at least 5 % of said resin and being treated prior to and/or during and/or after aqueous dispersion by at least one oxidizing agent selected from hydroperoxides including H¿2?0¿2?, peroxides, singulet oxygen, at an oxidant treatment temperature located 1) between room temperature and less than 100 ·C when it occurs after dispersion and ii) 50· and 150 ·C when it occurs before dispersion and iii) 50· and less than 100· C when it occurs during the dispersion stage.
La présente invention concerne une dispersion aqueuse de résine alkyde à base d'acides gras à insaturation conjuguée, traitée par agent oxydant et ayant des performances spécifiques, en particulier au séchage, un procédé spécifique d'obtention et son utilisation comme liant dans des compositions aqueuses de revêtements décoratifs ou industriels, à taux réduit d'agent siccatif ou sans agent siccatif. La dispersion aqueuse comprend au moins une résine alkyde, obtenue à partir d'au moins un acide gras insaturé ayant un taux en poids d'au moins 5% de ladite résine et traitée avant et/ou pendant et/ou après la mise en dispersion aqueuse par au moins un agent oxydant sélectionné parmi : les hydroperoxydes y compris H202, les peroxydes, l'oxygène singulet et avec la température de traitement oxydant se situant : i) de l'ambiante à moins de 100~C, lorsqu'il a lieu après la mise en dispersion, et ii) de 50 à 150~C lorsqu'il a lieu avant la mise en dispersion, et iii) de 50 à moins de 100~C lorsque il a lieu pendant l'étape de dispersion.
