A vehicle interior panel (13) is provided that comprises an inner wall (28) and an outer wall (26) connected by an integral side wall (58 or 64). A portion of the panel (13) comprises an air bag deployment opening at least partially defined by a tear guide (22). A portion of the panel (13) also comprises at least one chamber (32) located between the inner wall (28) and outer wall (26) of the panel (13). In this manner, a vehicle interior panel (13) is provided having both an air bag deployment opening and at least one chamber (32) in a single panel (13).
