Disclosed are homogeneous liquid stabilizers for polyvinyl chloride formulations which exhibit a reduced tendency to form precipitates, comprising an aromatic ether alcohol, an alkyl or dialkyl phenol and an admixture of alkyl tin compounds including butyltin alkyl mercaptides, butyltin hydroxyethyl mercaptides and compounds which are dibutyltin sulfides and/or monobutyltin sulfides.
