There is provided an electrical adapter comprising a plug (2), a socket (12), and an extension lead (6) connecting the socket to the plug, in which the socket is disposed in a body (8) around which the extension lead is windable such that so long as the lead is at least partially wound, insertion is prevented of a pin of a connector in a hole (14c') of said socket so as to prevent electrical connection to the connector.

L'invention porte sur un adaptateur électrique comprenant une prise mâle (2), une prise femelle (12) et un câble de raccord (6) raccordant la prise femelle à la prise mâle. La prise femelle est placée dans un corps (8) autour duquel le câble de raccord peut s'enrouler. Cette prise se caractérise en ce que, si le câble de raccord, quelle que soit sa longueur, n'est pas totalement enroulé, la fiche du connecteur ne peut s'introduire dans un trou (14c') de la prise femelle, ce qui empêche la connexion électrique au connecteur.
