According to the present invention there is provided a substance capable f inhibiting the bad smell of the feet, this substance consisting of elementary sulphur, preferably in the micronized state. It can be advantageously applied to socks, stockings or any other textile or footwear product intended to come into ( direct or indirect ) with the part to be deodorized. To this end, the active principle is combined with other substances with a view to obtaining a stable fixing to the support, assuring a persisting release of the active principle in the course of time, and this even after subsequent washings.

L'invention concerne une substance capable d'inhiber les odeurs désagréables des pieds, cette substance étant constituée de soufre élémentaire, de préférence dans un état micronisé. On peut l'appliquer, de manière avantageuse, aux chaussettes, aux bas ou tout autre produit textile ou chaussures devant être en contact (direct ou indirect) avec la partie à désodoriser. A cet effet, le principe actif est combiné avec d'autres substances en vue d'obtenir une fixation stable au support, ce qui permet une libération persistante du principe actif dans le temps, et cela même après plusieurs lavages.
