Abstract Compounds of the formula Image wherein R is Image , Image or Image wherein X is hydrogen, chloro, fluoro, alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or trifluoromethyl, pro- vided each R may be the same or different; R1 and R2 are hydrogen, alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, hydroxy lower alkyl wherein the alkyl group has from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkanoyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or X-substituted phenyl alkyl wherein X and alkyl have the same meaning as above, and the N-oxides and pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof have been found to possess antiinflammatory activity.
