A linear polymer is obtained by reacting together a polyethylene glycol or polypropylene glycol; a PEG-PPG-PEG or PPG-PEG-PPG block copolymer; a difunctional amine or diol; and a diisocyanate. A controlled release composition comprises the polymer together with an active agent. Active agents of molecular weight 200 to 20,000 may be used.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention d'un polymère linéaire par réaction d'un polyéthylène glycol ou d'un polypropylène glycol ; un copolymère séquencé PEG-PPG-PEG ou PPG-PEG-PPG ; une amine ou un diol bifonctionnel ; et un diisocyanate. L'invention concerne également une composition à libération contrôlée comprenant le polymère et l'agent actif. Des agents actifs d'une masse moléculaire de 200 à 20 000 peuvent être utilisés.
