A primer-fired ammunition cartridge for an electrical discharge weapon having a housing with an exterior surface and two wire-tethered darts positioned within dart chambers in the housing and two electrical contacts positioned on Opposite surfaces of the housing for lengthening an electrical arc path across the exterior surface of the housing. The housing can include a flange portion for engaging a chamber in an electrical discharge weapon wherein the flange portion includes an aperture thereby allowing the flange portion to bow and absorb resultant forces between the ammunition cartridge and the chamber of the electrical discharge weapon during firing of the cartridge.

Une cartouche mise à feu par une amorce, pour une arme à décharge électrique, possédant un carter à surface extérieure et deux fléchettes retenues par un fil prévues dans des chambres à fléchettes du carter, et deux contact électriques prévus sur les surfaces opposées du carter afin de rallonger le trajet de l'arc électrique sur la surface extérieure du carter. Le carter peut comporter une partie bride destinée à s'engager dans une chambre se trouvant dans l'arme à décharge électrique, bride comportant une ouverture lui permettant de se cintrer et d'absorber les forces résultantes entre la cartouche de munition et la chambre de l'arme à décharge électrique, pendant la mise à feu de la cartouche.
