Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for producing a three-dimensional object. A pulverulent substrate, such as particular polymer or polymerizable monomer is treated by means of microwave radiation. The apparatus includes a microwave generator, and optionally a table for disposing the pulverulent substrate, a device for applying the pulverulent substrate and a transmitting unit for radiating microwave. The transmitting unit is movable in the x,y-plane or in all directions and the table is movable in the z-axis or is stationary. Because microwave is used as opposed to other energy source such as laser, local overheating may be avoided.

Cette invention concerne une méthode de production d'un objet tridimensionnel et l'appareil correspondant.
