A method and a lubricant application device for regulating the flatness and/or roughness of a metal strip in the outlet of a cold rolling stand by suitable metering of the amount of at least one lubricant per unit time applied to the metal strip in the inlet of the cold rolling stand. The applied amount of lubricant is metered in the form of a quantitative distribution over the width of the metal strip per unit time according to a detected control deviation between an actual and a desired flatness distribution over the width of the metal strip in the outlet of the cold rolling stand or a control deviation between an actual and a desired roughness distribution over the width of the metal strip in the outlet of the cold rolling stand or a combination of the two control deviations.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif (100) d'application de lubrifiant en vue de réguler la planéité et/ou la rugosité d'un feuillard métallique (400) à la sortie d'une cage de laminage à froid, par dosage approprié du débit d'au moins un lubrifiant appliqué sur le feuillard métallique (400) à l'entrée de la cage de laminage à froid. Pour encore améliorer la qualité de la planéité et/ou de la rugosité du feuillard métallique laminé à froid, l'invention propose de doser le débit du lubrifiant appliqué en le répartissant sur toute la largeur du feuillard métallique en fonction d'un écart de régulation constaté entre une répartition effective et une répartition de consigne de la planéité sur la largeur du feuillard métallique à la sortie de la cage de laminage à froid ou d'un écart de régulation entre la répartition effective et la répartition de consigne de la rugosité sur la largeur du feuillard à froid à la sortie de la cage (100) de laminage à froid ou d'une combinaison des deux écarts de régulation.
