The invention relates to a radioactivity measuring instrument for a radioactive ore mining device fitted with at least one mobile container (18) for loads of ore. The invention calls for an articulated rod, linked in such a way as to swing in at least one vertical plane (120), to be fitted to the top of the device, while an ionizing radiation detector (122) covering a certain solid angle is fitted to the bottom, while some means is provided for the rod and container to be reproducibly brought into such a position, relative to each other, that the load of ore in the container subtends a substantial part of the detector's solid angle. An arm (110) shall be preferably be fitted between the rod and the device.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de mesure de radioactivité pour un engin d'extraction de minerai radioactif comprenant au moins un récipient (18) mobile apte à contenir une charge de minerai. Selon l'invention, il comprend une tige (120) articulée sur l'engin à son extrémité supérieure selon une liaison pendulaire dans au moins un plan vertical et comportant à son extrémité inférieure un détecteur de rayonnement radioactif (122) couvrant un angle solide détermine, et des moyens de déplacement pour amener la tige et le récipient, de façon reproductible, dans une position mutuelle telle que la charge de minerai contenue dans le récipient occupe une partie substantielle de l'angle solide du détecteur. De préférence, un bras (110) est prévu entre la tige et l'engin.
