A door (10, 12, 14) and method of constructing a door whereby antenna coils (18) are routed through channels (16, 24) that are incorporated within the frame (22) of the door, and completely or partially hidden from sight. The door includes channels (16) and or troughs (24) that are sized to retain at least a portion of the antenna (18) therein. The door (10, 12, 14) can be purchased with the antenna wires (18) already embedded therein and hidden from sight and installed at a facility without the need to mount the antenna wires on a pedestal or dig up floors and/or walls to embed the antenna coils. Existing doors can be retrofitted to install the antenna wires. Such antennas (18) may be used, for example, in an RFID marker system or a magneto-acoustic EAS marker system.
L'invention concerne une porte (10, 12, 14) et un procédé de construction d'une porte, des bobines d'antenne (18) étant acheminées à travers des canaux (16, 24) qui sont intégrés à l'intérieur du cadre (22) de la porte, et complètement ou partiellement cachées de la vue. La porte comprend des canaux (16) et ou des goulottes (24) qui sont dimensionnés pour contenir au moins une partie de l'antenne (18). La porte (10, 12, 14) peut être achetée avec les fils d'antenne (18) déjà logés à l'intérieur et cachés de la vue et installée sur un site sans avoir à monter les fils d'antenne sur un socle ni à creuser les planchers et/ou murs pour loger les bobines d'antenne. Les portes existantes peuvent être modifiées pour installer les fils d'antenne. De telles antennes (18) peuvent être utilisées, par exemple, dans un système de marqueur RFID ou un système de marqueur EAS magnéto-acoustique.
