A precision attachment device for securing a removable dental prosthesis in the mouth. The attachment includes a first section (11) operatively arranged to be secured to a fixed tooth (13), and a second section (12) operatively arranged to be secured in various positions of rotation within the prosthesis, and also being arranged to matingly engage the first section (11). The second section has a first mating member (26) having a throughbore (30) therein, and also having en elongated casing (28) rotatably disposed within the throughbore (30) of the first mating member (26). The second section (12) also includes a spring loaded plunger member (32) disposed within the casing and projecting therefrom, and a retention member (29) carried by the rotatable casing for limiting the extent of longitudinal travel of the plunger member (32). The parts can be readily positioned for use by a mandrel (96) which either engages the first section directly or which engages other parts of the attachment by a positioning matrix (97, 99, 102, 104 or 105).
Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif de fixation de précision, qui sert à fixer une prothèse dentaire amovible dans la bouche. Cette fixation comprend une première section (11) conçue pour être fixée à une dent fixe (13), ainsi qu'une seconde section (12) conçue pour être fixée dans diverses positions de rotation dans la prothèse et également conçue pour coopérer de façon adaptée avec la première section (11). La seconde section possède un premier élément d'adaptation (26) dans lequel est ménagé un passage traversant (30) et elle comprend également un logement allongé (28) disposé rotatif dans le passage traversant (30) du premier élément d'adaptation (26). La seconde section (12) comprend également un plongeur (32) sollicité par ressort, ce plongeur étant disposé à l'intérieur du logement, de façon à faire saillie par rapport à lui, ainsi qu'un élément de retenue (29) porté par le logement rotatif, de façon à limiter l'étendue du mouvement longitudinal du plongeur (32). Ces pièces peuvent être positionnées rapidement à l'aide d'un mandrin (96) qui coopère soit avec la première section directement soit avec d'autres pièces de la fixation à l'aide d'une matrice de positionnement (97, 99, 102, 104 ou 105).
