The invention relates to a system for constantly monitoring the insulation of a body relative to neighbouring bodies that comprises: a) a CPI (100); b) a first portion (103) of a measuring circuit connecting said body (70) to a first terminal (101) of said CPI; c) a second portion (104, 201, 108, 109) of a measuring circuit for connecting the second terminal (102) of said CPI to each of the adjacent bodies (80, 90), said second portion including at least one relay (201) for alternatively connecting said CPI to a portion (104, 201, 108; and 104, 201, 109) of the measuring circuit, connected to said adjacent body (80 and 90). The CPI alternatively injects a current, upon each switching, into the measuring circuit in order to regularly monitor the insulation of the different portions of an intervention unit to be operated in an electrolysis cell, the measuring circuits being preferably adapted so that a single CPI is used. The system may also include a system for regularly monitoring the power circuits.
Système contrôlant en permanence l'isolement d'une masse par rapport à ses voisines, comprenant: a) un CPI (100); b) une première portion (103) de circuit de mesure reliant ladite masse (70) à une première borne (101) dudit CPI; c) une deuxième portion (104, 201, 108, 109) de circuit de mesure permettant de relier la deuxième borne (102) dudit CPI à chacune des masses adjacentes (80, 90), ladite deuxième portion comprenant au moins un relais (201) qui permet de relier en alternance ledit CPI à une portion (104, 201, 108; resp. 104, 201, 109) de circuit de mesure reliée à ladite masse adjacente (80, resp. 90). Ledit CPI injecte en alternance, à chaque commutation, un courant dans le circuit de mesure de façon à mesurer la résistance dudit circuit. Ledit système est utilisé pour contrôler régulièrement l'isolement des différentes parties d'une unité d'intervention destinée à agir dans une cellule d'électrolyse, les circuits de mesure étant conçus de préférence de telle sorte que l'on n'utilise qu'un seul CPI. Ce système peut comprendre également un système de contrôle régulier des circuits de puissance.
