The tamper evidency of a carton is increased by producing stronger end flap seals. This can be done by anchoring the adhesive onto at least one of the end flaps. In a preferred embodiment there is at least one lower flap (22a, 22b, 26a, 26b) with at least one recessed area (30), at least one seal flap (28a, 28b) with at least one aperture (32) and at least one top flap (24a, 24b). The lower flaps are folded inward followed by the seal flap. An adhesive is on the inner surface of the top flap which then is folded inward onto the seal flap. The adhesive flows through the at least one aperture in the seal flap and spreads outwardly in the at least one recessed area below the at least one seal flap to become anchored to the seal flap. This is enchanted by a plurality of recesses in the at least one lower flap adjacent to the at least one aperture in the at least one seal flap. By being anchored to the seal flap and adhesively attached to the fiberboard underside of the top flap, a strong end seal is formed on the carton. This is highly tamper evident since flaps are permanently altered on opening the carton.

On plie les volets inférieurs vers l'intérieur sur lesquels on rabat ensuite le volet de scellement. Ensuite on plie vers l'intérieur, sur le volet de scellement, le volet supérieur présentant un adhésif sur sa surface intérieure. L'adhésif s'écoule au moins à travers l'ouverture ménagée dans le volet de scellement et s'étale vers l'extérieur dans la zone évidée située en dessous d'un volet de scellement, afin de s'ancrer sur le volet de scellement. On obtient cet effet de scellement au moyen de plusieurs évidements ménagés dans au moins un volet inférieur adjacent à au moins une ouverture pratiquée dans au moins un volet de scellement. Grâce à cet ancrage sur le volet de scellement et à la fixation adhésive sur le côté inférieur en carton du volet supérieur, on forme un scellement d'extrémité résistant sur la boîte en carton, laquelle devient tout à fait inviolable étant donné que si on tente de l'ouvrir, les volets se modifient de manière définitive.
